Edit3: Dec 10th
Finished my swords. And then a bow pack but I'm holding off on showing that plus other paintings [mad skills today. Very productive.] till I revamp my website which should happen in a few short days.

Err I made an axe instead. Axe, sword, what's the difference? Still needs some details but the High poly is mostly done.

Removed sword image. New one coming in next blog post.
How I work is that I will research the topic I plan on working on for a few months, troubleshoot all the options, learn as much as I can, and then take a little break letting all the info stew in my noodle, then do it. I am at the "doing stage" now. Of normal map creation. I have a final question I am posting to my favorite crit website, and then I'm working on a fantasy sword thing I intend to hand-texture and submit to the Oblivion community.
I will update this blog post with images as time goes on. I have 3 models picked out, but probably only one will be the star. I have 3 just so I have options or if I want to project restart, something I do a lot of. I usually [90% of the time] redo a project rather than tweak it. That probably won't fare me well in the industry if I choose to get into it, but that's just how I currently work.
Wish me luck and I hope to have my sword model at least in the WIP stage before Christmas. I take all this time to learn how to do things. I love to learn. About anything. Even if it won't ever help me, I just love to learn NEW things. I strongly believe this makes me a more intelligent and creative person because then I have more mental resources to draw from, more influences, styles, etc.Edit3: Dec 10th
